Hi, I’m Latosha—a proud military spouse, lifelong crocheter, and the heart behind Wondering.Waves. My journey with my sailor husband has taken us across the country (and even to Japan!), building a sense of home wherever we land.

Crochet has always been my anchor—a way to create comfort, connection, and joy through every move and deployment. Inspired by generations of creative women in my family, I founded Wondering.Waves to share that comfort with other military families and crafters everywhere.

I realized the true power of my craft when a Navy family shared that my handmade doll became a nightly source of comfort for their daughter during deployment. That moment inspired me to build a business focused on bringing comfort and connection to families facing the unique challenges of military life.

I share stories of crochet, local food, and travel to inspire connection, celebrate military family strength, and bring a little more comfort and joy to every day.     Fun fact: I’ve crocheted in 15 states (and even in Japan!).
